UPDATES UPDATES!!!

Wow have we been busy! Last weekend the whole family came up so we could celebrate Amanda's birthday and run the Avenue of the Giants! Saturday was way busy going to HSU and Trinidad. The weather was incredible in the morning but by the time we got up to Trinidad it was raining, crazy Humboldt weather. Sunday the girls got up and went to run Avenue of the Giants. Amanda did the half marathon, under 2 hours, nice job! Elaine and I ran the 10k which was great. Elaine got 4th in her age group and I finished with a time of 1:08:51. I was really proud of myself, I even sprinted the last part of it! After the race we came home and everybody left which is always sad. This weekend Scott and I celebrated Mother's Day yesterday by going to the ocean and doing some perch fishing. Thanks TIffany for watching the girls, they love spending time with you. We caught 7 fish each but Scott got the big ones. It was different kind of fishing but loved every minute, plus the weather was great. Now I have a tan which sucks for Lacey's wedding but at least I have a month to work on that. Speaking of weddings, Trinette and Mike got married this weekend! So sorry we couldn't make it but we love you guys and hope you enjoy your honeymoon. And for all my friends and love ones that are mothers, Happy Mother's Day! Miss ya mom!
