We went on a great fishing trip to 4 lakes two weeks ago. First was lake Shasta, then lake siskyiou. Siskyiou was awesome not much fish caught but the camp ground was cool. We had pizza and drank beer. Then we had ice cream and found this beer so Scott took a picture with it.
We then headed to trout lake to catch a bass. I know sounds crazy but there was another lake, bass lake that had more trout than bass. Here is our picture from trout lake.
We caught more fish and some huge bass. We saw lots of wildlife and the weather was perfect. Out next lake was lake McCloud but fished the river first. We didn't catch anything but nice hike and beautiful river!
We got up the next morning and headed to lake McCloud. Fishing was great and it was a trout only lake. This was my first fish that day. Nice brown!
Scott got a beautiful rainbow.
But mine was bigger! I caught a beautiful brown before that but lost it why I tried for a picture.
We headed to lake britton next but decided not to fish it and went to burney falls instead. We hiked on the pct, which I want to do the whole trail sometime! It's over 2000 miles long.
They had a creek and we fished and I caught this beautiful rainbow. Look at the colors
