Auntie and Ross came for a visit a couple of weekends ago, for Avenue of the Giants. On saturday we headed up to College Cove in Trinidad. The beach was so nice and the cove was great. It was windy every where else in Humboldt except this cove. The girls love playing the ocean. We are doing an art project of collecting shells and make a frame so they love looking for the shells. After the beach we headed to a new Pizza place we like in Eureka. It was also Arts Alive which happens every first weekend of month in Eureka. All the local businesses show off different artists and its just a fun party. Ross, Scott, and I headed to a new beer place called the Local Beer Bar. All they serve is about 20 different types of beer. Some local some not. It was fun! Then we headed down town the fun of Old Town Eureka. We left at about 830 all of tired and we needed rest for the run. I believe all 6 of us fell asleep as soon as we got home.
A view from the cove- sometimes Humboldt County is the best!
Daddy and his girls on a log
Izze swinging on the swing...great background view
At Avenue of the Giants! Ross ran on the trails while Elaine and I ran the race.
Totally exhausted after the run!
So graceful when she sleeps

We had a great time with all of you! Can't wait for our next visit. Auntie
Those scenery shots are amazing! You're right - parts of Humboldt are the best! And you're an excellent role model for the girls - all that exercise and everything! Looks like great fun!
Congrats on the run! Looks like a fun visit!
