Today we declared this summer, the summer of Adventure. We were orginally going to go to the fair today but this idea sounded better. We headed out to Fish Lake today to take the girls fishing for the first time. Its about 30 minutes above Hoopa. I heard about this lake from a volunteer at work who said they caught 40 fish last weekend. I told Scott and we decided to try it out. Going into it we thought we weren't going to catch any fish which was fine but we were amazed.

Everyone caught fish. We found a great spot and we caught about 10 trout in 45 minutes. Michaela did a great job but she always wanted to reel

Great pics, especially the family one...but what happened to Scott's facial hair! LoL Glad it was a good first experience fishing!
The girls look more grown up than when I was with them last weekend! Looks like you had a wonderful time at Fish Lake.
What a great first fishing trip! Good for you for taking them somewhere they could catch some the first time. Bet those trout were great for dinner!
