We are back!

Lacey and Dan came up for a visit last weekend, so I decided to try our luck at fishing. I took them out the Lost Coast since I know Lacey had never been out there. Lots of cool views, long drive, and no fish. I didn't pick the best place and we kept getting tied up but it was fun. Saturday we headed to a different beach to try again but it was way rough so no fishing but a great hike and we played football. The guys won but Lacey made a great one handed catch for a touchdown for the girls. It was awesome wish I had it on video. Then we headed out for adult time and went to the Sea Grill and Gallaghers for beer afterwards to watch the rest of the Giants game. Congrats Giants didn't think you had it in you, but you did! The visit was great with the Jones' and hope they come back soon.

Dan looks cool

Izze laughing at Aunt Lacey

Really you have to take a picture now

Before Dan and Lacey came up we tried to fish for salmon at the mouth of the Eel River. It was catch and release and I really felt we were going to catch a fish but this was all Scott caught. Isn't it cute!

The girls playing on the drift wood

Izze and Scott taking Sheepy for a walk too!

Twins must really run in the family, because the first time we grow pumpkins and we get twin ones! All of the pumpkins are from our garden.

Spiny dog shark that I caught. I caught three this day and two rays. The videos of the rays will be hopefully tomorrow.

Me and Brands during our visit Labor Day

All the kids playing together. the girls were talking about gavin for days afterwards

Wow the girls are growing up so quickly! I've really got to meet them one of these days! And the fishing looked like great fun. I'm one of those who prefers "fishing" to "catching"!
