This weekend!

Grammy came up for a visit so Scott and I got to go fishing on the Trinity River. I was so excited that I drank a little to much Friday night at dinner. Luckily I didn't have a hang over and got to go fishing. We got up at 5:15 Saturday morning and headed out to Hoopa. I was a gorgeous morning in the low 40s. There were two other cars where we parked. We both caught 4 steelheads but they were really small. Good fighters but small. We were both hoping for something bigger but you know how fishing goes sometimes. Maybe next time....at least I can say I caught a steelhead but I think I will wait and see if I get a bigger one to cross it off my list of goals! We came home to an empty house and had a nice hour to ourselves. We had a nice dinner with grammy and the girls and then headed out again. We decided to go to a local pizza place for some beer. It looks empty but to our surprise there was a surprise birthday party going on and kids everywhere but we had already gotten our pitcher of beer. We were also excited because we were going to watch a baseball game but that was the game that was cancelled so we just went home. Sande thought we were boring! Anyway today we went to a pumpkin patch and corn maze. I will post pictures later this weekend! Coaching starts tomorrow so we will see how much our lives change in the next couple of weeks!
