The New Year in Humboldt!

We headed off to Humboldt for the New Year to get some ducks that Scott was having mounted. It was nice heading back but it was the same old Humboldt, cold and rainy. The house looked good...made me really miss it. I love our house! I wish that we could just pick it up and take it with us. We got to see some friends..The Christiansen's which I have some video of and then some friends from work. We came across 36 and back 299 to get the whole Humboldt tour. We are sure glad we don't have to make the trip anymore. We of course went to the Eel River Brewery for dinner. Prices have gone up but the beer is awesome. Scott had two Stouts, his favorite, back to original recipe too, and I had two porters-can't beat that porter. For breakfast we went to Hot Brew--not! We went to Los Bagels because Scott loves his bagels. Over all a good trip except for Michaela and I getting sick! Maybe we will visit again soon or not until the girls can understand what Humboldt meant to Scott and I. Here are pictures of the ducks!
