Collective Soul Rocked!

Friday night Scott and I went out on a date! We first went to Outback Steakhouse and had one of the best steaks of our lives...so good...plus the bread. We sat inside the bar so everyone was there after work and one couple were totally making out...it was so gross. We then headed out to Oroville to go to Feather Falls Casino. We got our tickets and some drinks and gambled a little. We decided to go into the concert at about 7:50...concert started at 8. As we walked in we noticed that we were almost the youngest people there. I didn't realize that there was a mid-age crowd that loved Collective Soul. No opening act so the concert started at 8. First song was "Heavy" which was awesome. They played all their radio hits like "The World I Know", "Gel", "Run", "Why Pt 2", and "Better Now". The two songs that were awesome were "December" with some Killers- "All these things I have done" in the middle and then "Hollywood" with some AC/DC - "Thunderstruck". The encore was "Where the River Flows" and "Shine". They also played my favorite song ever "Compliment" which I didn't think was very popular so I loved it! I was little afraid that Scott wasn't going to have a good time but he said that they sounded good and enjoyed it. The showroom was very small...maybe about 500 people. We were in Row I seats 1 and 2 we were close but not too close. There was this couple in two seats in front of us that had to be in their 50-60s and they were dirty dancing in the aisle. I'm sorry but Collective Soul is not a band that you dirty dance too! We were so disguised! Anyway it was a lot of fun and it was great going to dinner with no kids making noises...we didn't have to leave early because Izzy was yelling! I can't wait until the next date night. Thanks to everyone that has been watching the girls lately so we can go out! Scott trying to act excited!
