River and Appt

Today we went to the river with Elaine. We arrived at about 9 am and enjoyed the solitude in the canyon. Elaine and Scott went hunting for crawdads and blackberries. I can't believe the size of the crawdads. They are huge. He is having them for dinner along with the trout I caught earlier in the week. We caught 4 small bass and that was it. We enjoyed the river by swimming well at least Elaine and Scott did. The twins were under the umbrella enjoying the scenery.

In the evening we had a check up appt for the girls. They got their second set of shots and did really well. Here are the measurements: Isabelle 24.5 inches long and 13.6 lbs, Michaela 24.25 inches and 13.6 lbs. Thats right Michaela is the same size as Isabelle. Both looked very healthy and Michaela is starting to teeth. She has two bumps on her lower gums, Isabelle doesn't have anything. We will be starting solids next month if they seem interested. Overall a good appt and hopefully we dont have to see the doctor until October.
