We went up Highway 32 to Butte Meadows on Monday and I caught this trout. Scott saw it in the water and told me where to cast and I got it. It was 14 inches long and Scott will be eating soon. We caught two more fish, one more trout (Jamie) and a German Brown Trout (scott).
Tonight we tried the bike trailer out with the girls. They seemed to do really well in it. They both love looking at all the trees in the park. As you can tell I am half wet from the creek. Funny story...I was fishing in the creek and lost my sandal and so I tried to get it with my fishing pole and couldn't get it and so I chased it down and the creek got pretty deep but best thing of all I had cast before I lost my shoe and caught a fish while this was going on...think "A River Runs throught It" will Brad Pitt but instead in a small creek and Jamie chasing her sandals.

We are going to the farmers market tomorrow and then Thursday is back out to Feather River with Aunt Lainey. Should be fun...hopefully I can catch more fish than Scott again.
